Lumang Bayan (Old Town) is an isometric illustration I created for DKNG Studios’ Skillshare class. I chose to depict a provincial town to explore the blend of colonial and native Filipino influences in architecture and everyday life—a small challenge to capture that sense of history and warmth in a modern style.
I began with sketches to map out the scene before bringing it to life in Adobe Illustrator.
From there, I built a color palette, visual rules, and a consistent style to bring the final illustration together.
